Mud Drags Information

2010 Mud Drags

August 28th

-Time Trails start around 6 pm and will close at 7:30 pm Racing to follow
-Entry Fee $20
-Gate Fee #10
-All classes are guaranteed 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies
-80% of the entry fees will be split between Classes A, B, C for 1st and 2nd (3rd place is trophy only)

Class Details
-Classes are split up based on time trial times; For example: Trucks turning 3 seconds may be assigned to the A Class then those turning 4 seconds may be assigned to the B Class and so on...
-The only exception to this will be 4&6 Cylinders have their whole class entirely and at least one time trial is necessary. In the case that a 4&6 Cylinder qualifies with a time as fast as "A" Class they will not be permitted to race this class and will need to compete in the "A" Class.

Racing Details
-Racing is set up as a double elimination format; meaning lose twice and you're out
-In the third round racers will have the option to buy back in for one more chance to race at $10; in classes with 5 or more racers the buy in option will be available in the 4th round as well (this will be taken care of in the pits by the track official)
-During the first two rounds of racing in each class the track official will not make you race someone you have raced previously, if by mistake this does happen it is the racers responsibility to tell the track official before lining up to race. This will not be reversed after you have raced the round.
-Lane choices are determined by the track official drawing chips. The track official in staging will draw 1 of 4 chips which represents the staging lane. The first chip drawn will have lane choice and the second chip drawn gets what is left.
-Red lights result in immediate disqualification (Single or Double); NO EXCEPTIONS
-Track official decisions are final
-Since A Class is the fastest trucks and tend to overheat, this class will be permitted to return to the pits after racing two rounds while the show continues to race through the next classes
-No racer is permitted to return to the pits while his/her class is racing unless they are done racing
